According to our noble provincial premiere, the fact that a few store owners are in the habit of ripping off their lottery customers is a clear sign that they shouldn't be allowed to sell Ontario-produced wines or micro-brewery beers:

Date: 2007-04-03 18:04 (UTC)Yep. On the one hand, you have generally civilized urban areas in Europe that have had a long-standing tradition of treating alcohol primarily as a food.
And then on the other hand you have urban areas in the States where I fear that selling alcohol in generally unlicensed corner stores could be a contribution to urban decay.
