SciFi Wire's hedreads "See Kate Beckinsale naked! And, oh yeah, there's a movie...". They do this poking fun at the NYT article that opens with "The first thing Kate Beckinsale does in 'Whiteout' is take a shower."

So much for hoping that the movie might be worthwhile. (Heck it still might, but Rotten Tomatoes is not sanguine.) Oh well. At least Mr Tony is back on the air, thank goodness.

Apparently, BBC7 is replaying, in four parts, the radio play version of Lindsay Davis' "Silver Pigs", the first of the Falco mystery series. The starting episode was on yesterday, and you can find a link to the "listen again" replay here (Real format). If you're interested, remember that the archive rotates every week, so that link will point to episode one until next Monday.

BBC7 is broadcasting a teleplay of Richard Matheson's I Am Legend. The link is to the first installment, and it's from last Thursday, so you have today and tomorrow to catch it before it gets overwritten (BBC7's archived files last only a week). You'll need a RealPlayer on your computer to listen.

Awesome -- I don't know why it took me so long, but BBC7 on the intarweb! Some thing to idle away those long trips from Charing Cross to Mornington Crescent... now if they'd only podcast 'em.
