I've seen this meme floating around, but when [livejournal.com profile] mylescorcoran bared his toonz, I figured I might as well hop on the wagon. If it's good enough for Myles, it's good enough for me.

As you can see, I'm one of these "if I buy one album, I must invest in the band's entire catalog" kind of fellows:

Missing from the above list, 'cause they don't seem to be in hotfreelayouts' searchy-thingie:

I bared my toonz? I thought I fixed these trousers.

Hey! How could I have not included the Sundays? Thanks for reminding me of another many-played favourite.

You're welcome. The Sundays are awesome. Only three albums. ::sniff:: I wish they'd quit their day jobs and get back to the music business...

Yes, I was surprised when Static and Silence came out (great album too, by the way), but it only broke my heart again when I realised they weren't going to produce anything more after that.

I've got a soft spot for Lush and EBTG too.

Haven't listened to them for years, but "back in the day" I used to totally dig Lush.

If you liked later Lush more than earlier Lush (as I do), then you might also like Sing-Sing who are Emma Anderson (of Lush) plus Lisa O'Neill. They're very poppy, though, so you won't get much shoe-gazing out of them.
