So, I started watching the first instalment of Dr Horrible. I did not finish it. I just can't get past the musical numbers. This seems to be a combination of two forms of entertainment I just don't enjoy: parody and musicals. As such, it remains unappreciated by me. Ah well.

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one who couldn't get into the Dr. Horrible stuff, Viktor. Don't get me wrong - I like parodies, and I like musicals, to some extent. But some of them should just not be combined. ::shudder::

Well, I think part of the goal of the "cheaply made, self distributed, democratized entertainment" model that Joss is pushing for here is that he can design stuff for niche markets without having to worry about supporting the huge overhead. Therefore, you not liking it fits perfectly into his model.

I find that adding to my regular dietary intake, such as a third of a cup of bran buds with my morning cereal, or two teaspoons of soluble fibre with my tea, helps a lot.

That said, I'm sure there's stuff that you like that I like, and vice versa, but we'll have to disagree about this and a few other things, I suspect. Thank Goddess, otherwise the world would be a very boring place.
