As of last year this time, and adjusting for dollar value, what is the most money-making Bond movie of all time? I was floored to find out. Was this the clear signal to the moneymakers behind the franchise that they didn't need anything more than the bare minimum in the formula to make big dollars? Interesting.

I was surprised as well. It isn't one of my favourites, by a long-shot.

I wonder how may other factors play into this ... other cinematic releases during the year, accuracy of the profit vs inflation statement as it applies to movie prices and profits and relative costs of production, etc.
