BSG fans beware: Helfer moving on?

According to SciFi Wire, Tricia Helfer is joining the cast of Fox's "Them". According to TV Guide, it's "entirely possible that Helfer will join both series". Somehow, that doesn't really ring true to me. Prompts me to try to think of the last time an actor appeared in two concurrent television shows (there are probably a fair number of examples: I just can't really think of any at the moment). Are Six's days numbered?

Well, I did see her on Supernatural this week ... I'm not sure if she looks better as a bottle blonde than as a brunette, or I'm just used to seeing her blonde.

She gets a couple minutes an episode, most episodes. The third season's "Occupation Cylon Side of Things" storyarcs have had a lot of TH.

David Eick XPs both shows and is also planning to shoot both in Vancouver, I believe. Therefore, he can arrange to have Helfer available as much or as little for each as he wants (within reason, I suppose). I believe he's also given Katee Sackhoff a recurring role as the first bionic woman (the one that (of course) went bad crazy after the surgery and blames the scientists for turning her into a freak or something similar).

From her appearances in BSG, I far prefer her as a brunette. She looks much more human. But then (a) she was obviously intended to look a lot more like real people in her brunette role in BSG (as Pegasus Six), and (b) I suspect the platinum blonde look is intended to be a distancing look as well, to reinforce that Six is not human.

Ah! I had known that Eick was XPing both shows, but I hadn't known that the latter was going to also shoot in Vancouver. That makes more sense now. SciFi North West. 8)
