Just installed the new major patch release for Mac Office 2008. Aaaaand, yes: Word is still spraying invalid context warnings all over my log files! This smacks of a classic "my side! your side! my side! your side!" bug. Microsoft claims that Apple's API is not behaving as it should; Apple claims that Microsoft is not using its API properly; customer's log file suffers. (Just a supposition, but this kind of thing happens all the time in the software industry, so I don't think the guess is much of a stretch.)
