This weekend presented another grand panoply of gaming opportunities. On Friday night, a slight changeup up of the Friday Night gang led to us welcoming back friends from England, and a new local friend not used to the crazy boardgame hobby. On Sunday, another slight shakeup of the gaming group led to a new face at the table and slightly lighter fare than usual for a Sunday afternoon.

After perhaps discovering that nearly everyone and his dog had stuck him in a killfile, the MI5 Persecution idiot has renewed his/her efforts to carpet bomb usenet with insane rantings. I switched to reading Google Groups in FireFox just so I could killfile this particular bozo (through using GreaseMonkey), but now that s/he's carpet bombing from a huge variety of addresses it's become even more onerous to do so.

There's only a few forums keeping me reading usenet groups at all. I really hope that Google take some steps to providing a clean way to bin this bozo and others like him/her. Some filtering tools on their Groups interface would be much appreciated that don't amount to third-party JavaScript hacking of the browser itself... ::sigh::
