Don't look now, but the notion of Canada as a federal union may well be passé. How long before these guys field federal candidates to "more properly represent the unique interests of Saskatchewaners as a nation within a nation"?

Chuck good and bad

I've been catching up with a bunch of backed-up Chucks. Sadly, I don't think this show really has anywhere to go; it seems like a solid one-trick pony in the mould of Get Smart and other spy pastiches. On the other hand, every now and then when you think it's just brainless silliness, it pulls out a clever bit. Like the scene in which Josh Gomez gets locked in the storage cage and passes the night listening to opera. Classic! Right out of Diva!
